SERVE

We are called to SERVE.
There are many ministries in our parish that are committed to serving Christ, our parish, and those in need.

Martha and Mary Ministry:
The Martha and Mary Ministry is women’s group dedicated to serving our parish and the community.  They provide hospitality to grieving families, cook meals for various activities in the parish, give gift baskets to new parishioners, and assist with many different parish celebrations.  Check the GET INVOLVED section for more on the Martha and Mary Ministry.

Knights of Columbus:
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, fraternal organization dedicated to the principles of charity, fraternity, and unity.  They do so much in our parish and beyond.  Check the GET INVOLVED section for more on the Knights of Columbus.

Feed the Hungry Ministry:
The Feed the Hungry Ministry is a group of committed individuals that pick up food from Trader Joe's in Germantown, TN, organize it at the parish, and bring the cuisine to people in Fayette County that need it.  The Feed the Hungry Ministry delivers food 2 or 3 times a month.

PRO-LIFE Ministry:
Our Pro-Life Ministry is committed to defending and promoting the dignity of the human person from conception to natural death.  This year they participated in the 40 DAYS FOR LIFE Campaign.  Every Saturday parishioners went to the Planned Parenthood on Poplar Avenue. Our parishioners prayed, held up PRO LIFE signs, and testified to the sanctity of human life.  They continue to educate our parishioners on life issues.

St. Vincent de Paul:
The Mission Statement of the St. Vincent de Paul Ministry is, "A network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.” T he volunteers encounter those in need and see in them the face of Jesus.  They provide assistance to individuals and families that live within the borders of the designated zip code of the parish.

ALPHA:
Many people that go through ALPHA join the team later as hosts.  These men and women don their ALPHA shirts and serve the guests by planning, cooking, cleaning, serving, and facilitating conversation.  Some even sing and play!!
