The St. Philip Martha & Mary Bereavement Ministry needs your help!

 "As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him." 

Losing a loved one can be very difficult, and having to deal with so many decisions and arrangements can only make the loss even more difficult to carry.  Here at St. Philip’s we strive to provide a warm and welcoming environment where regardless of if you are Catholic, Christian, or a non-believer, you may feel at peace here.  This is only possible with the help of countless individuals who comprise the Martha & Mary Bereavement Ministry at St. Philip’s.

Would you please prayerfully consider being part of the Martha and Mary Ministry by volunteering in any of the following areas?

• Greeters for visitations and funerals.
• Parking assistance at  funerals.
• Preparation of food for the funeral reception/luncheon.
• Making phone calls for food and helping to serve at the funeral reception/luncheon.
• Cleaning up after the funeral reception/luncheon

All of our volunteers are divided between two teams, and the two teams alternate between one another thus allowing more individuals the blessing that it is to serve one another, especially in a time of need.
