Rite of Christian Initiation – The Rite of Christian Initiation, which is generally referred to as RCIA, is a faith journey for those individuals who have not yet been baptized. The journey is twofold, education & formational in the Sacraments and Traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. Beginning September 8th our RCIA will begin and culminate with full initiation of Baptism, Confirmation and reception of the Holy Eucharist at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 23, 2011. If you or someone you know who has not yet been baptized and has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic please let them know about the beginning of our RCIA. Journey to Catholicism – This program, also called JTC, is for those individuals who are already baptized and have been part of a faith community but find they are now interested in becoming a Catholic. Beginning September 8th, for a twelve (12) week period, classes are offered based on the Creed of our Tradition. Following the completion of the twelve week course, candidates will be received into the Church by a profession of faith, conferral of the Sacrament of Confirmation & reception of the Holy Eucharist.
