Faith Formation Classes

Here is a sneak peek at the upcoming classes being offered through the Diocese. HOT OFF THE PRESS - Sr. Cathy is coming back to St. Philip for part 2 of her Church History course: Reformation to the Present. The class will be held 2 Saturdays - January 17th and 24th from 9:30am to 3:15 pm. Cost is $10 and it counts toward catechist certification. Put it on your calendars! RCIT (Rite of Christian Initiation for Teens) meets every Sunday (except those noted on the calendar) from 10:45-11:45 a.m. during PRE time. This class is for children who meet any of the following criteria 1) Are age 7 or older and are not baptized; 2) Are above 2nd grade and have not made their 1st Communion or above 8th grade and have not been confirmed; OR 3) Are not currently Catholic and desire to join the church. Campbell's Label for Education

Thanks to those who have been saving UPC's for us. To date, we have 435 UPCs. Our goal is 4700 UPCs, which we'll use to get a new CD player for the religious education programs. Just a reminder, please save either the UPC or the entire label for us. We need to have the UPC to turn in for credit. The collection bin is the giant soup can in the narthex.
